ABOUT

The Kokoda Trail is 96 kilometres of rugged mountainous terrain with a single-file track that runs through the Owen Stanley Range in Papua New Guinea and is an important part of Australian history.

The Kokoda Trail was the location of the 1942 World War II battle between the Japanese and Allied forces and is known as one of the bloodiest campaigns of World War II.

The Kokoda Trail takes days to complete on foot and is known as one of the world’s greatest and most challenging treks for even the most skilled bushwalker.
